Nuovi lavori sul plastico - New progress on my layout

Nuovi lavori sul mio plastico, questa volta è stata la volta dell'erba finta ! Ho preso ad un brico center un po di quest'erba finta tagliata alla bisogna e poi fissata con alcuni chiodini al tavolo. Sto anche iniziando a rialzare tutte le rotaie di 8mm per ovviare al problema della diversa altezza degli scambi come precedentemente accennato. La prossima mossa sarà completare la posa del binario ed iniziare i collegamenti elettrici.

Here is some pictures about my new progress on my layout. Look, there is the fake grass ! Pretty cool :-) Next time is time to finish the track and begin to wiring.

Ciao a tutti... un sogno si è avverato !!! Quale ?!? trovare un altro italiano che opera con questi meravigliosi treni americani. Il mio amico Danilo usa questi treni assieme al padre che li portò in italia molti anni fa quando tornò da una lunga sessione lavorativa svoltasi negli USA. Ora, di tanto in tanto, ritirano fuori queste meraviglie e le fanno girare sul plastico che hanno approntato. Mi ha comunque promesso che li userà sempre più spesso, tempo permettendo, perchè la soddisfazioni che ti danno questi modelli, il loro rumore e la loro bellezza, non hanno eguali... alcune foto, fatte col cellulare, al plastico che Danilo e padre stanno costruendo !!! Prossimamente altre foto ed evoluzioni in merito !!! GRANDE DANILOOOOOOOOO !!! Hy guys... my dream comes true !!! i found another one here in italy who plays with lionel trains !!! Sound Comander a little application for Toy Trains enthusiast

A little application created by myself for all Toy Trains enthusiast on the world ! You can download the ZIP file, unpacking all files on a folder and lunch the application sc_01.html First screen you can see is a menu like this: Than you can choose your sounds category and you can see a screen like this: Just press a button to listen sound. A cool thing is the mixing !!! You can mix all sounds together for great and appropriate listening of scene you want to recreate ! For example you can press STEAM 3 on STEAM ENGINES, than go to AMBIENT EFFECTS and click on COAL LOADING (now two sounds are mixed), than you can return on STEAM ENGINES and press WHISTLE 2... Restauro di una 150 elettrica - Restoring an electric engine like 150's

Ciao a tutti... questa meravigliosa locomotiva è un pezzo antico e sono riuscito a recuperarla qualche tempo fa per una vera miseria... 20$ spesi davvero bene :-) Ovviamente necessitava di un restauro ma alla fine quello che davvero importava era la sua funzionalità... il motore infatti abbisognava di una bella pulita ed oliata ma era in condizioni eccellenti !!! Dopo aver tolto la ruggine e l0ossido dalle superfici, ho colorato in nero e rosso questa splendida "signora" e ritoccato tutte le rifiniture in oro... niente male vero ?!? Hi there... this great locomotive is a rare piece. I bought it for about 20$... great price you know ?!? This is completly restored by me with repaint in black, red and gold !!!
