Ieri sera mi sono prodigato per approntare il tracciato definitivo. Guardando bene lo spazio a disposizione ho pensato che ci fosse altro spazio sfruttabile per maggiori manovre e movimento locomotive. Confesso che una delle mie grandi passioni all'interno del mondo ferroviario è la piattaforma girevole per la girature delle vaporiere. Pensavo di crearne una casalinga se riesco a trovare un bel motore da usare... e per bello intendo potente a sufficienza da sopportare il peso delle mie locomotive !Ho così previsto lo spazio per la piattaforma che avrà un ponte da 45cm, sufficiente per accogliere le loco medio-piccole.
Poi ho tagliato tutti quadratini da 5x5cm dello spessore di 8mm circa da inserire sotto le rotaie per rialzarle e renderle così alte tanto quanto gli scambi stessi e risolvendo così parte del problema dovuto alla diversità delle rotaie.
This time i have create the ultimate and definitive layout. I'm thinking to create an homemade turntable for my steam engines. The bridge is 17,72" and is great for my little steamers.
Than i haw cut some wood pieces to place under railtracks to solve the problem of different rail profile.

I like this turntable idea. How are you going to make it spin? Cut a circle out of your layout table?

Thanks for compliment... i'm not sure to want to cut my table but i want to build up a little turnable bridge. In a few words: a wood piece 17" long and a motor for spinning on center... but at the moment i don't have the motor (motor must be with a reduction, i don't know if this is an exact term but i'll put a gearbox for reducing motor speed)
If you have many suggestion i'm listening :-)
