Sound Comander a little application for Toy Trains enthusiast
A little application created by myself for all Toy Trains enthusiast on the world !
You can download the ZIP file, unpacking all files on a folder and lunch the application sc_01.html
First screen you can see is a menu like this:
Than you can choose your sounds category and you can see a screen like this:
Just press a button to listen sound. A cool thing is the mixing !!! You can mix all sounds together for great and appropriate listening of scene you want to recreate ! For example you can press STEAM 3 on STEAM ENGINES, than go to AMBIENT EFFECTS and click on COAL LOADING (now two sounds are mixed), than you can return on STEAM ENGINES and press WHISTLE 2... Very great mixing !!!

If you have problems to view the application maybe you need the flash player plug-in:

If you are using Internet Explorer, under the adress bar appearing this:

Right click on the mouse, than select ALLOW BLOCKED CONTENT !!!

Hai ragione quando dici che dovrei dare molte più info sul DOVE/COME/QUANDO procurarsi materiale Lionel. Promesso che farò un articolo dedicato in merito, ma ora vorrei spendere due parole con te: dunque, avrai capito che Lionel, glorioso marchio americano che lavora dal 1900, è praticamente impossibile da trovare in italia, quindi ?!? si cerca nei negozi online americani o europei (questi ultimi da poco tempo). Se dici posso darti una serie di link in modo che tu possa valutare costi sia di materiale che di spedizione (da non sottovalutare mai, a volte è superiore al materiale che compri, ma non spaventarti!). Ovviamente c'è poi anche eBay che ha giocato un ruolo fondamentale nella mia collezione e in quel che io chiamo "procurarsi la materia prima". Un'altra cosa, hai MSN Messenger ?!? possiamo parlare li e così ti spiego passo passo come entrare nel meraviglioso mondo dei treni Lionel e diventare un Toy Trains Enthusiast !!!

Abbi pazienza.....ma sono arrivato veramente alla frutta.
Finora ho trovato solo l'importatore svizzero che penso tu dovresti ben conoscere, e per due crossover O27 90 gradi ho speso 68 euro e chissà mai se mi arriveranno.
Io coi treni Lionel ci sono cresciuto, e ancor di più mio padre. Infatti ricordo ancora gli scapaccioni che ricevetti quando stavo per rompergli una locomotiva... ma mio padre AVEVA PROPRIO RAGIONE... me li meritavo!
Riguardo messenger non lo uso perchè in ufficio non posso usarlo e a casa non riesco mai a mettermi più di 5 minuti collegato in rete.
Però se mi invii le tue coordinate "installo" tutto quello che serve per dialogare più approfonditamente.
Inviami il tutto (al più presto!!) a dderiso@gmail.com. Poi da casa cercherò di contattarti in privato al più presto. Da ufficio posso usare solo questi mezzi.

Francesco, I am probably doing something daft. I opened your sc 01.html and see something flicker on the screen and then a green screen remains. So, I must do something wrong, but I am sure you can explain.

Sound commander is a flash based application, you mast unpacking all items in a folder (named like you want, Sound Commander for example) than you lunch the sc_01.html. Now you can see the voice LOADING, it remainig for 6 or 7 seconds and than the application started.
A question: have you a flash plug-in for your browser ?!? if not you can download it at this link:
